Undergarments

These historical undergarments are made by me.

These photos show the shift and the stays.

This project involved a lot of handsewing and learning how to work with boning.

The patterns I got from the internet and those were drafted from a real pair of stays.

Scaling a digital pattern to real size

Boning channels sewn by machine.

Zip ties were used as boning for this stays.

As this was my first pair of stays this was the most affordable option instead of buying synthetic whaleboning.

The whole corset was finished with bias tape fully sewn by hand.

Eyeholes also sewn by hand.
