This project involved a lot of research, about the time period , the clothing, silhouette, colours, materials and traditions involved.
I call it historically inspired because it isn't 100 % historically accurate.
Shoes
100% leather handmade shoes
Light brown are Iron age inspired
with rabbit fur lining
Dark brown are begin medieval
pattern draped around own foot
Shield and Axe

Iron shield boss made with worbla.
Worbla is a termoplastic that can be formed by being heated up.
then painted to look like iron.
Axe made out of wood. Details made with foam and painted to look like iron.
Drinking horn and backpack
The horn is a cows horn that I cleaned up and cover in foodsafe epoxy. This make the horn actually safe to drink out of.
The backpack is a Y shaped branch with straps attached.
