Fantasy viking Shieldmaiden

This fantasy viking shieldmaiden outfit is an original design.

The photos show the beautiful materials and handcraved details.

This project came together without a premade design, meaning its design came while making it step by step and seeing where it took me.

It has a few old norse design elements but mostly it is just fantasy.

Gambeson pattern made by draping and closures made with buckels and leather.

All leather pieces patterned and made by me, adorened with metal rings and rivets. Including belts, bags and bracers.

Shield made out of wood and hand painted. "Metal" center made out of wolbla shaped like a dome.

Bag has a hand carved front.

Axe head made out of wood and foam, made to look like metal.
